Interviewers asking athletes stupid questions.

Is anyone else fed up of the BBC interviewers thrusting their microphones under the noses of the athletes just after they have won and asking them how they feel and other stupid questions? Obviously they are delighted! Then after this there is a long discussion in the studio discussing the same topic over and over again. How long does it take to analyse some ones victory? All this gets annoying and downright embarrassing after a while.

Like I said, a bit more knowledge of the athlete and/or event, and slightly more intelligent questions, rather than "Are you pleased"?

What annoys me is when the reporter who asked the question clearly doesn't listen to the answer when their next question asks something that has just been stated!

what's worse is they do this to athletes who have lost, often making a bad situation worse, if only they would give them all a little time to collect themselves.
Would there be any way at all to get rid of Matt Baker, i absolutely hate the bloke, he is the worse presenter on TV, and i could cheerfully throw a brick through the telly when he's on.

Another one that annoys me is literally seconds after winning their race they get asked about Rio!

Louise Minchin on BBC News interviewing a family who had been to some Olympic events, she asked the young daughter what is your favourite sport,the girl replied "gymnastics" then Louise said you like gymnastics then!

That bloke trackside at the athletics really gets on my nerves - Phil somebody or other. Absolutely useless. Anyone not making the final or just short of a medal must be really depressed after he's interviewed them!
