A friend of mine says it's possible to get Sky tv chipped! I say its not possible and if you did get it done it would only last a short time. Who is right?

The encryption codes change at least once a month with other satellite providers (HotBird etc). I guess Sky is similar, though I think they use their own encryption standard instead of SECA etc.
