How can I put an ad on Google

Hi, wanting to advertise my local craft event on Google. Anyone know how, and how much. Have Googled the question [haha] but can't find an answer.

for an event, you would probably be better off advertising on FB -then you can just target local people

well in all fairness, i don't suppose there is many people who off the top of their head know about advertising on google
