when athletes are too receive their medals why do they introduce them in french 1st and then in English?

Official language of the Olympics is French, then announcements repeated in language of host country.

Actually there are 2 official Olympic languages French and English.

Don't mention Agincourt.

They don't use French in the Archery, owdhamer, too many sore memories.
