Difficulty in connecting to Answer Bank ?
14 Answers
Every day it's getting more difficult to connect and then stay connected.
Just changing to a different topic or answering a question results in the connection being lost.
I have no problems with any other sites . Any ideas ?

The best information to start with however is always: browser and OS. Could you let us know what you're running please?
I've not experienced the problem or been able to recreate it so far.

modeller....I am not a Techie, but I am conscious of the fact that it is important to indicate what Operating System you are using ( Windows Vista, Windows7 or whatever ) along with the Browser ( Google, Firefox, Internet Explorer etc) in order that the Ed and Techies can endeavour to give a satisfactory answer to your problem.
I am operating on Windows Vista with Firefox14.0.1 as my default Browser and am Not having any problems. I do have IE and Chrome as 'back-ups' Browsers, but, like the Ed, can-not recreate the problem.

I have had the same problem but I don't think it has anything to do with AB or indeed any other site, more likely the ISP. Once again, when I logged on tonight, I was told that pages couldn't be found because I was not connected to the Internet, even though the task bar and the router told me otherwise. I use an O2 PAYG dongle, which was brilliant for a couple of years but has been very dodgy lately. Even as I type I notice the little light flickering to tell me that I am disconnected, yet by the end of this sentence I am back on again.
mike i used one of those earlier this year, used up the initial credit on it just before we moved house in april, paid £14.99 in asdas as it was on offer from £19.99, just sold it on ebay for £21.96 with no data on it at all! it was ok but slow, it's off to belfast as we speak, might be better signal there!
