I fear his mother may not get to know as time is running out for her, said on the news she is in a hospice suffering from cancer. I do hope she can lay her son to rest in a proper burial.
Could that be why he may reveal? That he needs to do it before she dies in the hope he'll be transferred to prison? His last selfish act.
me too ann but i fear there may well be one final evil twist in this letter...
I agree with Gromit. I think it unlikely that, after all this time, he could accurately locate the body.
Sorry - but I thought Keith Bennett's mother died about 18 months ago?
No, she's in a hospice.
Nope - just looked it up and she's still alive, although she has cancer. Must've been thinking of someone else connected with the case.
I didn't realise that the letter cannot be opened until after his death. That the person arrested has a legal obligation to respect his wishes. How sick is that, considering??
He's a psychopath who's committed appalling acts that he's shown no remorse for. He's never expressed any concern other than for his own predicament of wanting to die and not being allowed to.

He's not going to spontaneously develop a conscience or desire to perform some kind of altruistic deed after his death.
As others have said, it's doubtful he even knows the location himself.
Why do his wishes need to be considered? If it's considered relevant, the letter should be opened immediately. I'm old enough to remember the dreadful feelings the case engendered for those of us in the North West and the effect it had on our parents, I will never forget my mother sobbing as she read the court reports.
Not sure the recipent of the letter has a 'legal obligation' not to open it before the donor's death ! On what grounds? It's an agreement which is binding in honour only.Further, it would surely be held to be against public policy that, given that she believed that the letter contained the information suggested, she did not open it and disclose its content, or did but refused to divulge it, quite apart from any offence of hindering a coroner.
That's what it said on the TV.
You'd have thought after all these years that if he'd reached a point where he was willing to divulge the location of the body he'd have done so by now and not waited until after his death. He's a truly sick individual. Both him and Hindley's minds are beyond comprehension.
as i feared...the police now think, after examination of other papers at the womans address that the whole thing is a ruse by brady....
