Can anyone please advise me if it is still possible to get hold of the above. In describing them as old style what I mean is they have a narrow slot on the front lid that holds the inlay in place and when closed forms a complete dust seal, whereas the only similar cases I can find at the moment have what I call an partial open back and are mainly for computer use and don't hold the inlay in place. There are many sites advertising slimline single cases but they are, so far, not the ones I'm looking for Thanks

That's poss not the exact right page for you, but they've got loads of different cases on sale, so you might find what you're after.
I've bought from them once before and found them to be cheap and decent quality as well :)

Hi Gizmonster I'm not sure which part you are not sure about so I will tell you what I'm trying to do. I want to replace the plastic cases on all of my cd singles with new ones, but it seems impossible to buy them anywhere. The detail I went into was to explain that the one type of slimline case that is availble is not suitable because the cd inlays won't fit into it. I do not have the capacity to provide a photo, but do you have any old cd singles yourself you could have a look at. There aren't many cd singles released these days and those that are tend to be in cardboard sleeves so there isn't much call for them.
Looks like these would do...

If you have a local maplins you could always pop in to it and double check.
Do you mean the new ones are round, while the old ones were square?
I don't think you'll get rigid ones, but soft translucent ones are available all over.
