QVC presenter former GMTV star

I was really surprised to see a lady called Cathy Tayler (sic) presenting gems on QVC. Not because she was presenting jewellery but because she looked so frumpy and chunky! Didn't she used to be a triathelete or pentathalon event enthusiast? She used to be so pretty as well but was it not for her voice, I would not have even recognised her! Anybody know what happened?

If you mean Kathy Tayler she was a former World Champion for the Modern Pentathlon (riding, fencing, swimming, pistol shooting and cross country running) but she was 19 at the time. She has also completed the London Marathon.

I guess time has just moved on and having 3 kids doesn't help either!

People let themselves go. 3 kids is no excuse to slob out. I don't know exactly who you mean but there is always nearly the same woman who gets on my nerves because she talks so much, she seems to work 24 hours a day.

I haven't seen her on QVC, but Cathy Tayler was really attractive when she was on Breakfast TV. Shame if she isn't as lovely as she was, but then, who is - apart from Joanna Lumley?

That wasn't the one I was thinking of that speaks too much. I think I have seen her on QVC though.

I can only presume then that it is the sheer quality and delight of the goods on sale for knock down prices on QVC that keep you glued to the screen then...?

me, very rarely watch it. Like I said there is one that is always on that talks too much or maybe she is on Ideal World. I only watch it if the fashion is on occasionally and then notice it is full of clothes for middle aged flumps. It's usually when I am flicking channels that I pause for a second. It's great for bed time viewing or an afternoon siesta takes 5 minutes to send me to sleep.
