And I have been faffing about with frozen pizza and an oven?

Delivery pizza sounds like the way forward, gness. And ask the young man just to step into the bedroom, I mean hallway, while you fetch the money. On second thoughts, best not. With your track record, you'll probably only catch some part of the poor lad's anatomy in the door.
