I turned over as soon as the young guy started bashing the girl's head in,why show this when we are beset with violence in our society and impresssionable people become de sensitized to this kind of thing?
It was brilliant, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Although it didn't bother me personally, I did wonder why it was allowed to be shown due to the gruesome nature of disposing of the body ..wrapped in a sheet and plastic...given the circumstances of young Tia's murder, when other tv programmes have been pulled for less.
I asked this question on the other thread on this programme and no-0ne has answered it:-
I have just watched it and my recording finished just as the lightning flashed and you could see someone watching Mix burying the body. Did anything of note happen after this or did it end there?
I enjoyed it myself, after watching 16 days of running, swimming, cycling etc.
Haven't watched it yet so cannot say how last night's episode ended. I can tell, though, from the book, that the Sikh neighbour who witnessed the burial of the body causes all sorts of complications when he calls on the landlady requesting the services of her gardener!
Did not understand it, first episode was okay, second episode made no sense to me whatsoever. If anyone can explain to me what the point of it was, maybe that would make watching it worthwhile because right now I am thinking I wasted 2 hours of my life over nothing but silly coincidences and trivial revelations
