Nail Polish HELP!

Hi ran out of nail polish remover is there any house hold items what take off nail polish?

I would try hairspray

any paint solvent or even petrol, failing that gin/vodka can often work, depending on the quality (chemistry) of your nail varnish.......

Surgical Spirits should remove it.

What about white spirit? You could try picking it off!!!

Put more nail varnish (a clear or light one if poss) on the top and then wipe it off straightaway - that will sometimes bring the old stuff with it.

It has got ink off leather for me, and there's no harm in trying it, although prudie's idea seems better

I've used cheap perfume in the past - it probably won't get every scrap off and your hands'll be a bit whiffy, but it works.

Prudie thank you so much, I put a clear top coat on and the nail polish came off mostly! Looked up on the internet hairspray apparently it does not work!

No thank you...
