Euro Invoice

We've got a job in Dublin and I've received an invoice for materials from our supplier there but of course it's all in Euros, including the 23% VAT amount.
How the chuff do I record this? Do I convert the Net price to Sterling? What about the VAT element?
Should it make any difference, I use Quickbooks.
