Does anyone know anything about the mythical celtic land that was supposed to have existed between Wales and Cornwall and was said to have sank beneath the sea? Does anyone know the names of other mythical sunken worlds. (Other than Atlantis of course).

yes this is one of the supposed locations of Avalon, where King Arthur sleeps. It is supposed to be the dwelling of the fair folk, where it is always summer and the wild fruits are sweeter than fruit from a kings garden and the water sweeter than wine. No time passes there and no one grows old. There's more information on it in a book called the last enchantment by Mary Stewart

and a link will take you to a website entitled "A Dictionary of Fantastic Places". There you'll find descriptions of stacks of mythical places such as Atlantis, Avalon, Lyonesse, Lemuria etc. Not all are sunken worlds, of course, but the site makes for some fascinating reading. Enjoy!
