He or she seems to be able to post 10-20 identical spam posts in the space of a couple of minutes. I don't know how he/she does it. But I also can't see why he/she bothers setting up a new ID each night to post on here. If it's any consultation the same spam is being posted on lots of other sites too

It/he/she seems to target the home page, don't know how they do loads of replies in such a short time though.

Really factor? - I wonder what pleasure they get out of it! It's not as if it's ever anything like a useable name, just a jumble of letters - they stand out a mile.

At a push I could do 20 posts in two minutes by opening 10 tabs and then pasting the same link into 20 threads but I thought something had been built in to AB at some stage stop someone posting more than around six threads in a short space of time

There did used to be a restriction like that in place before the site upgrade (last year was it?)... but it was removed.

Ah, that explains it - I remember certain not-here ABers falling foul of that rule from time to time.
