Security Tags

We have all become accustomed to stores and sometimes supermarkets using security tags on the more expensive items.

Today in Sainsbury's they have Security Protected tags on . . .


Cuts of Beef and Lamb joints!

I am always reading about meat thefts from supermarkets in my local paper. It makes sense to tag the more expensive joints I suppose.

Makes sense I suppose, the larger Joints cost more than Bottles of Spirits, DVD's etc

The way prices are going they'll have them on boxes of eggs soon........

When shop lifters steal to order I suppose it had to come - for sunday lunches

At my old work we had to put security tags on everything £4.99 and over. Other high risk items would also be tagged.

Things like that are a draw for junkies and jakeys who then flog them in the local pub for a few quid, which they then give to charity of course.

ahhh the relatively new invention of stealing food....

It's the tagging of the aforementioned food that is relatively new.
