Tis the time of the year. Try some antihistamines.
It could be exercise induced asthma.

Seems to be a lot of it about just now. My Daughter has just been prescribed an inhaler for breathlessness. I started with a hacking cough two months ago, had two lots of antibiotics and still left with breathing problems, I'm waiting for results of a chest xray, full blood test. and ECG, but no relief for the breathing. Have a word with your GP about it.

Thanks for the link daffy very interesting I do have hay fever so could be a link
I was going to say hayfever too!!! Xx
No big deal and I agree with daffy.

If it is hay fever then why is she symptomless most of the time, the symptoms only appearing AFTER exercise?

Monitor the situation for a month or so.
How vigorous was the exercise, is this something new or have you always done it?

johnnk been doing same sort of exercise for about year now maybe more i.e spinning and metafit the wheezing and coughing afterwards has only been happening for the last couple of months
If recent then it could be the additional inhaling of allergens with the increased breathing of exercise or being outdoors more, jogging etc...

I get it with asthma and though it doesn't bother me much nowadays and I don't do much too energetic with the arthritis to get out of breath exertion sets mine off. Another pet hate of mine is people who liberally spray stuff about at work like deodorant or body spray as that sets me off too - wish people could be more considerate and go spray it outside or just away from where people are working.
