sorry einstein I hate to disagree but they do exist! They fit into the range next to the kettle sandwich toaster etc and having recently disposed of my deceased mothers eternal beau fryer at a car boot sale that seems a pretty good place to look for one imho. Also an excellent way to get someone out of the house.
