MM and KM Links August 2012 Week [4]

Summer is nearly over. Or at least, what summer there has been is nearly over.

I wake to sounds of children's voices as they lark and squabble on their way back to school. The tired leaves on the trees are showing off their autumn rinse as the morning grass glistens with dew. No longer any screeching overhead for the swifts are long gone. Yes - summer is over.

Seekeerz generously gave me a month off from overseeing the MM Links game and that too is now nearly over and I will have to start taking an interest pretty soon to be able to contact the next setter. Who will it be?

Be ready to play the MM version of the game at 9am tomorrow in Q&P with an introduction 15 minutes earlier. That game is set by one of the players - this month the setter is Seekeers. Play early for the best chance of bonus points.

Now Seekeerz also oversees the KM version of the game where you will be pitting your wits against the setter of the Daily Telegraph GK Crosswords, Kate Mepham (KM). That also launches in Q&P early tomorrow morning. Play any time over the weekend.

Please note that Seekeerz lives in AUSTRALIA where they sleep during the day and live it up at night, Consequently the results of the MM Game will be posted later than usual on Sunday night and the KM results will follow some time after midnight.

Anyone can join in so why not have a go tomorrow? Great fun for all the family.
