Does anyone know why the Telegraph wants the date of birth when submitting the crossword?
I always leave it blank but does this reduce my chances of winning to zero (from eighteen billion to one)?

I did email them re the small amount of space to put ones name and address when submitting the GK crossword, the answer I received was they don't propose to enlarge it but I can give my details on a separate piece of paper and they will accept it. Do any of you puzzlers agrre that the space needs to be enlarged ?
