Tax Threshold
Can anyone tell me the tax threshold for a single person these days. I am trying to work out if it might be the same to work part time and pay little or no tax or full time on a low wage but paying tax. Thanks in advance

Best to earn over about 77 per week so are credited with National Insurance Contributions, though you pay none from your pay packet. You will pay some NI on anything over about 90, yet still credited with contributions if between 77 and 90 odd. This is to help low earners earn their state pension.
