He thinks we should bestow love to Anders Breivik.
Listening to him right now I can't help thinking he is a bit odd.....and delusional .

Would any answerbanker like to forgive the actions of Breivik?

A big fat NO from me
Nope.
Tough love is what Breivik needs and a lifetime behind bars to appreciate it. Roache is just an actor. I can't see why his opinion is worth airing on television.
After seeing him smirking and basking in his infamy the other day, I would like to Bestow a bullet to the monster.
Lord I detest these all forgiving loving hugging nuts!

Forgive? Never and I would take revenge if it meant waiting twenty one years had he hurt one of mine.
Bill Roache is quite an elderly, quite an odd actor. It's his personal opinion and one to which he is entitled.
I don't personally share it, I think Anders Breivik is extraordinarily dangerous. I think he's a very remarkable man and I do think it's a pity that he couldn't have channelled his abilities somewhere where they could have been utilised for the good of everyone, but he chose not to do that. As such he's been afforded the harshest sentence that Norway could. I suspect that they might be able to keep him in prison for life, and will doubtless do so if they can. It's not for me to forgive him or not, it's for the victims families but I'd personally happily shoot him in the face.
yes !
Difficult to believe anyone could be so peculiar as to want to support such an evil man. Electric chair? - I'd pull the switch. Hanging - yes I would pull the lever. Shooting - definitely. In fact whatever it takes.
Just incidentally - what's happened to our avatars?
I'll more than likely get stick over this BUT, I would definitely pull the lever.
i wouldn't kill him the best punishment for him would be 21 years of solitary. no computer no papers. no communication from outside that would be a living hell for that monster. but of course human rights would step in here !!!
Agree with deggers really. Pulling the switch is instantly over with....perhaps torture in solitary is the best plan after what he has put the families through for life now and robbed those poor children (as such) of their futures.
exactly we want him punished, if you kill a person then he does not exist, you cannot punish a non existent person
Bill Roache was pretty passionate in his argument wasn't he, he got quite excited. I thought his personal opinion pretty patronising to the families of the victims, forgiveness is a decision that can only be made by those personally affected by Breiviks actions.
I'm working from memory well affected by vino tinto mucho, but I seem to recall that Bill Roache has a wide religious streak as in proselytising born agaon christian variety.
Which would explain his urging us to love Breivik, and leave vengeance to the lord.

For my part, vengeance is the lady's and I can wait a very long time.

Breivik will die in jail but there are some other people out there who won't know what hit 'em.
I thought Bill Roache was a druid. Personally I'd lock Breivik up and toss away the key
