That was interesting Dakota, do you think it was meant to make meat eaters less guilty? What about shoes and leather goods. I have been to someones house who was a strict vegetarian to find they had leather soafers. Would you believe it. They forgot about that. The problem is with this story there is plenty of humans to feed. What is the population of Great Britian? Billions eating 1 cow a year each.

I had to laugh at your story about the leater sofa! Did you say anything?? In fairness, some people don't eat meat because they don't like the taste / texture.

Dakota, no I eat meat so have to hide any guilt. I must admit at the time I didn't say anything because I didn't think about it. It was just when they were lecturing me about eating beef some time later I was confused as to why they were sitting on a leather settee. I still didn't mention it, I forgot about it until afterwards.

Not as many as you'd think. Mostly burgers come from the left-over bits and are sprayed off the carcass by high pressure hose. mmmmmm, tasty. Something not to think about when at MaccyD's or BK.
