Straight forward puzzle but I just don't get the title? Not that it makes any difference to the solution but any enlightenment?

Quite agree that the clues were straightforward, and once I'd got the quote a dash to Brewer's confirmed all the unclued and what had to written below the grid.
After yesterday's rain formost of the day, today has been sunny, but a bit breezy. A pleasant stroll along the seafront this afternoon, and now enjoying a cold beer sitting in a sun-drenched conservatory!

Hi all, enjoyed doing this, and do admire the construction of it. Just one small quibble - the second of the three clues without an extra letter is at a point where an extra letter is needed for the quotation. Or have I been looking at it for too long?
My other minor problem was that ODQ claims to be number 6 but I couldn't find the quote in it. No great matter as it's so easy to find elsewhere.

I enjoyed this puzzle. It has a well coordinated theme, which is interesting both geographically and biographically, some entertaining clues (49 & 16 Ac), some words which were new to me (37 & 38 Ac), and some wordplays which I still find baffling (47 Ac). The editorial team, though, must get on top of the indications for numbers of letters. 12 Across was 6 not 5. Not vital to the solving, but an irritating and repeated failing.
