My cats been sick a few times recently and despite there being roughly an equal amount of hard floor to carpet, he always seems to pick the carpet.

Popped into my brother house at lunch to feed his cat as they are on holiday and thought I'd check the bedrooms before they come home tonight. Of course, a bunch of cat puke on the carpet.

Why don't they puke where it could be wiped up easily? It's always on the carpet!

My cat does the same, just blatant disrespect!! I can't deal with vomit, especially if it's warm- bleeeuurrghh
because they can! i've chased mine round the house before now to avoid carpet or send them outside....but they seem to like carpet x
look up dog shame, you will see dogs do it just the same and cats are gits for doing it in awkward places!
Moggies don't understand that they're upsetting us - when they feel sick, they gob anywhere they are - they don't set out to deliberately widdle us off - the same as when they come in with a wee mouse or birdie - they think they're bringing us a trophy which they want to share with us.
I am going to be terribly annoying now. ASBO (for all his faults) has never yet thrown up on a carpet. I remember at my old house him throwing up several times, but he got in his litter tray first. He has some terrible faults but he is an ultra clean mog.

However, next door's cat fights his way in through the flap, gorges on biscuits and then chucks up in the dining room..........
OMG Barmaid, how rude!
I know, shocking, isn't it Prudie.

However, the chickens showed him who was boss today. They chased him out the garden. lol
warm vomit, mmmm (Homer Simpson)
Checkout the carpets. Maybe your cat just don't like your taste in carpets !
If you eat that chicken thenry, you'll need to be considering YOUR carpets!
goddam bm - just took the chook out of the oven - looks and smells OK to me ?!
Thenry, I've posted a link in your thread. If it tastes even remotely strange DO NOT EAT IT!!!

Otherwise, I wish you well with your meal. I really fancy a roast chook now.
Our cat managed to go upstairs to the main bedroom and throw up right in the underneath a fairly large double bed, but I didn't know about it for a while, but then you should have seen me, on my tummy under the bed, trying to scrape up pongy vomit that had welded itself to my carpet! I must remember to keep my bedroom door shut when I 'm not there! The cat is not in my good books now.
