lots to do this afternoon when i return from work --- including packing for a weekend away.
god-daughters' 18th birthday bbq tomorrow - hope the weather will be kind.

Moaning Minnies are seven of us who all worked together in a junior school and hit the menopause at the same time (well I didn`t having done it 15 years earlier but I had a phantom one so I didn`t miss the fun). We called ourselves the Menopausal Moaning Minnies though that`s probably not what the head and two male teachers called us.
Time passed and we had to drop the menopausal but the rest stuck and we`ve stayed good friends in retirement and today we`re playing boule..not rusty balls though.

Hi all.....nice and sunny here....late today as I was doing other things, even coming up with a haiku for sloopy - and not her "challenge".....now in Truro in one of my fav cafés contemplating poached eggs and beans, the eggs so wonderful as this is a veggie café (their coffee is good as well).

it is very good - second best in Truro for breakfast, the other place being "meaty".
