First time in 60 years - smelly shoes!! HELP!!
6 Answers
Good morning
Took off my trainers last night after a hard day and nearly passed out. Smell was terrible. I don't understand because:
* I've had the trainers for a year
* I've never had this problem before - I am 61
The last time I wore them before yesterday, the outers got wet (they have gortex lining) and I left them to dry in a common hallway where there are lots of other shoes - could this be it? Can they "pick up" some form of airborne "toxin" (!!!) from other people's shoes?
Any suggestions for getting rid of the smell please. They are expensive and very comfortable, so don't want to chuck away.
Many thanks

Very strange - other trainers ok, these were 100% dry, no athletes foot. Going to wash the trainers, apply the spray and use the charcoal insoles. Still mystified as to the reason though. Cheers all.
