MRI and Diazepam
4 Answers
I am due a MRI scan and suffer from mild claustrophobia. It has been suggested that I will be given a small dose of Diazepam to help me.
While I appreciate that the dose is key here will I be able to drive an hour or so afterwards assuming it is a 'small' dose?

It doesn't hurt, and you'll be given a button to hold in your hand to press if you become distressed - so you can be sure you'll always be quite safe. I had one a couple of months ago - and was even given a choice of music to listen to! Just go with it and it will be over before you know it.
