Nexus 7 email
2 Answers
I'm trying to set up a Nexus 7 to link to my regular email account provided by my ISP.
I've manually told it the POP3 and the SMTP server names but it doesn't connect.
I guess Google just wants us all to use Gmail :o(
I know my way around PCs pretty well, but this thing is driving me crazy.
Anyone getting on OK with one of these?

Should be fairly straight forward.
The only things I can think of to be aware of are you need to set security type to none for most services and SMTP login is required....
What's the ISP though, they may have different settings (or may support IMAP, which would be better than POP3 for a tablet)

Thanks Chuck. I think my ISP's server (Eclipse) is playing up, and not recognising the password.
Password is now being rejected on my two PCs as well. Broadband's ok but no email.
So, Webmail I thought. Except that the server rejects on log-in, so I'll have to wait until Monday morning to get them to reset it.
Thanks again, and thanks for the IMAP tip. I know they support it.
