FF15 problem

Hi all

Yesterday I upgraded to FF15. All seemed to install and work OK.
Today, for the first time, I wanted to do a search. I opened up a new tab and tried to enter a search string in the right-hand box.
This box will not let me type or clear its contents as it used to.
If I click on the magnifying glass symbol I can bring up the selected search engine and proceed from there OK.

Has anyone else seen this? What do I do to fix this?

I am running XP Home + SP3

Just tested it and it works fine for me on Windows 7 (I use a different search mechanism which is why it was just a test).

On mine the multi-coloured symbol that opens the drop-down for search engine options etc works OK. Maybe it peculiar to XP.

No, it's not peculiar to XP - I'm also running XP Home SP3 and it works fine for me
