Why is youtube sticking?

Youtube keeps sticking.. especially if i'm loading/refreshing a page on another tab. I used to be able to do everything with videos playing in the background with no problems at all. Is it doing it with everyone or is there something that i've maybe done??

It's doing my nut in.. please help!! :) x

But the video loads all the way and it still does it. It's only started happening the past few weeks.

And the last couple of times I've watched anything on itv player the pictures fine but the sounds distorted [sort of echoey]. Hope you don't mind me sharing your post, erin-x.

just checked and it's fine for me (Firefox, don't know if that makes a difference). Have you got a lot of programmes running?

Now that I think about it.. It was doing it when I tried to watch a video on my phone as well..

My signal has got 5 bars as usual. Is there not a way of checking your internet speed or something?

I'm use chrome. All i'm running is 4 tabs on that and my sticky notes in the background. I've always had them though.

to see if your broadband is giving all it should you can try this
