With Martin Clunes playing a very intense, rich middle-class husband and then he was on in the adverts chatting to Churchill the nodding dog ! Result for his agent !

I've got to watch this on ITV +1 because Mr.C is watching New Tricks.
Ha ha! The Churchill ad came on and fpr a moment I thought we were back to the programme!

Actually, I'm thinking this drama is very good indeed.
Me too, I thought the programme had come back on, haha, then I saw the dog! Good drama though, can't wait for tomorrows episode.
There was a time when this exact thing wasn't allowed in case people DID think it was part of the programme.
I didn't notice that.
haha, yes! I noticed that too. That Clunes gets everywhere.
Yes postdog, I believe it is against the broadcasting licence to advertise during a program you are in. As for New Tricks are cant see how it has earned so many accolades. The scripts are far too complicated.
Am I the only one who thought at the start of the ad when they were on the motorbike that it was Alan Carr
And the woman who played the detective was on BBC 1 at the same time - I switched over during the adverts ! Does anyone think Hermoine looked a little too intense all the time, a tad overacting? Her mouth looked strange to me.
Does anyone think the son's guilty? Give your reasons?
I don't think the son's guilty - too obvious. I think it was the daughter that did it.
I think it was her step-son..............
Or maybe it's Paul McGann - I think that he's rather creepy!
Maybe Mrs C is right. It could be the daughter. She was very late home that night.
I think the daughter did it and is framing the son.

They'd had a bit of a 'thing' going, but he finished with her because he liked the murdered girl. So she killed the girl and is framing the son as an act of revenge, nicking his trainers and smearing the girl's blood on them (hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and all that).

Miss Marple, eat your heart out! :o)
Wasn't it the younger daughter that was late home? I am confused.
Oh was it Lottie? So am I then. I'll feel better in the morning after I found out who dunnit!
Can't remember which daughter was late home but I still think it's one of the girls that did it.

Looking forward to tonight's instalment when all will be revealed.
Even in the second part tonight Martin Clunes was in two separate Churchill adverts, how odd!
