....no question, just wanted to say what an amazing night!
The stadium is stunning, everything runs like clockwork and topped off by seeing David Weir win gold!
Bit gutted that the medal ceremony is not till tomorrow as I would have loved to have heard our national anthem sung....but hey, that guy is an absolute star!

Myself and Mrs DG took eldest grandaughter yesterday to the morning session.
Could' t agree more with all comments so far. What a fantastic place and the atmosphere when you enter the main stadium is electric.
The organisation is fantastic and you want for nothing, information wise.
A truly wonderful experience to be remembered forever.

I went too divegirl, last Saturday, I thought it was awesome. We saw Richard Whitehead Team GB win the men's 200m final and the place erupted. When we all sang the national anthem I was in tears. The TV coverage is very good but it doesn't do the stadium justice, you really have to be there to experience the splendour of it.
Morning all :0)
I have barely any voice today from screaming so much! I could not agree more that you have to be there to believe the atmosphere.
I made a remark to my daughter last night about how amazing it would have been to see Mo Farah win one of his golds... Her reply 'I prefer this'. And you was right, it could not have been any more exhilarating, exciting and loud!
You, Excelsior, are so right, a memory to be cherished forever.

Hi Divegirl.....just home too. Saw David Weir win last night. Wasn`t it fantastic?
Back this morning and the medal ceremony was breathtaking. I was yelling and flag waving for the Brits, Irish and Canadians and after seeing how excited those Brazilians were last night I yelled for them too......I just yelled for everyone really! A full stadium!!!! Wouldn't have missed the last two days for the world! x

i think that the Paralympics has been a massive success, let's hope it truly has a knock on effect of the able bodied seeing disabled people, not as disabled, if you see what i mean. but councils, government need to step up the game as it were, because there are lots of disadvantages about being in a wheelchair, namely getting around on public transport. It's better than it used to be but not as good as it should be.
