Also, does anyone know of anywhere you could get triple bunk beds from?

I have five children, the last three are all girls and very close in age (within a year of each other) They want to share their bedroom as they are always playing in wach other's rooms and are basically insperable.

So, I obviously don't have a room big enough for 3 seperate beds, and could do a set of bunks and a single, but they all want to sleep in bunks and the eldest of the three drew me a picture of them all in bunks (triple bunks)
Anyone seen this????

You can get bunk beds that are a single bed over a double one, I think both Ikea & Argos do them, and for some reason they appear like clockwork in the free ad papers & on Tesco's notice board! Our bunk beds can stack either way, so in theory if there was a third it should stack up on top. Perhaps there may be somewhere selling off a load of bunk beds (youth hostel?) and you could buy two sets & just use three.

Hope you've got a high enough ceiling for a triple bunk! We live in an Edwardian terrace and our ceilings are too low for a triple bunk, we have one of those single over a double bunks as mentioned by solar junkie.

You could try contacting a Danish company called Flexa. They make triple bunks but their website indicates that they're currently looking for a UK franchisee so they might not have a UK outlet at present.

Their website is one of those awkward ones where the URL in the address bar doesn't change as you switch between pages, so here's how to view the product. Go to:
http://www.flexa.dk/uk/index.htm. Click 'Assortment, then 'Beds', then 'Triple Bunk'. Use the 'Contact' tab to mail them.

If you find that your ceilings aren't high enough, you might try a 1-up, 2-down compromise:

Just a thought: If you're prepared to consider shipping costs from overseas, wouldn't it be cheaper to find a reputable carpenter and get him to make you some triple bunks? If so, just ensure that he's aware of all the relevant safety issues:

This site will ship to the UK and has a couple great configurations for three kids. Look under twin over twin or twin over full and then select "Trundle Available" under the Special Feature category on the left. Also look under L-shaped loft beds for a really cool bed called the Triple Lindy (my personal favorite) that can come with a twin or full third bed and has a couple different styles/finishes:
