Has anyone got any recomendations for either freeware or cheap software to edit AVI video clips?

nothing too flash as long as I can cut and paste parts of different clips together, maybe slomo and put titles/music to it.

ok, thanks Baz. Didnt even think of checking what comes with Windows. Nice one!
Forgot to mention, if you want slo-mo then Live movie maker doesnt do it but the earlier version which was just called movie maker 2.6 does.

why they removed the function in the newer version i'm not sure but that's Microsoft for you
I also meant to say, do the slo-mo in MovieMaker 2.6 save it and import it into Live Movie Maker and do the rest in that.

you may find Movie Maker 2.6 does all want by itself
