I have now spoken to son and had another row with him. In his very blaze manner, he advised that if he does indeed get the sack, then why shouldn't I keep him, as I have done it up til now....

I told him that if he does get the sack because he would rather be in town that work, then he can stay in town and his girlfriend and friends can "keep" him and I also told him that if and when he does come home that his attitude can change, drastically!

Thanks guys, I just needed a little time to compose myself... DT if you would like my email address, I'm more than happy to send it to you?

I have now been back in contact with him and advised him to go to the local authority tomorrow and complete a form for a flat, if needsbe, I advised that I will write him a letter of eviction, if required.

I did say that I love him to pieces though and I hate all this angst, so we are going to try and sit down tomorrow, when he comes home and talk it out.

My OH is still quite cross though that he made me cry so I don't think he will be a part of the talk as he will get angry.

Your not stupid kat.
"stupid of me! "

Not stupid no, but soft yes.
Good luck Kat. You are not stupid at all, just a normal loving Mum.
You have done the right thing and agreeing to talk is fine.
Take care
