Harrogate Show

Going to this show on Friday, has anyone been? Is it similar to Chelsea but on a much smaller scale - with plant marquees and show gardens? Any tips ........?

Thanks alba :) looks as if the weather is on the decline again just in time for our mini hol - staying in Leeds for 3 nights to visit the show Friday and go sight seeing in Yorks rest of time. Why do we never get good weather? <sigh>

The Harrogate Show is not a flower show. It's more agricultural.

I didn't realise that ladybirder, we are going with friends and they have bought the tickets. I was hoping for flowers and gardens ....

Oh there'll be lots of other stuff as well as the agricultural, like lovely food marquees, crafts, clothes, as well as a Yorkshire Tea stand. Plenty to enjoy, but definitely not Chelsea. I love it, as well as the Nidderdale Show that closely follows it, the last chance for all the farmers in the area to get together before the winter sets in.

Just seen your link. You didn't say FLOWER show in your OP. We are talking about two different things. I was talking about The Great Yorkshire Show. Case of crossed wires:-(
