Winter....

Ok, its not here for quite a while, but what do you like and what do you hate about winter?

I just love eating all the wintry comfort foods - cassoles, dumplings,stews!
Also love the snow, and log fires.
Can't stand getting up in the dark and driving home in the dark either : (

I hate everything about winter. Apart from Christmas, it has no redeeming features whatsoever as far as I'm concerned. Dark mornings, dark nights, cold weather, snow, fog, icy roads, sky high heating bills, washing drying all over the house. Yuk Yuk. Yuk. When Laughing Boy and I have retired, we're off to Tenerife for the winter (but coming home for Christmas lol)

I would emigrate in a heartbeat to somewhere sunny all year round.

Winter just makes you appreciate the beauty of Spring. I love the seasons we enjoy in England... I love the smell of pine cones and an open fire. And the smell of Christmas turkey and all the trimmings
