chillies from seed
I saved some seed from a chlli i had last year and grew them in pots, but they don't look like last years, so what I need to know is do they usually come like the mother plant? or could it be the weather thats made the difference, last year fruit was red his years are turning purple.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.got a plant from a car-boot last year and saved some seed from that, so i have no idea what sort it is,maybe i've found a new variety that will be super-hot, they look whitish at the moment with purple streaks, think i'll let my son try them first as he loves hot chlli and seems to have tin guts, if he chokes and his eyes water i'll let you know.
