Kitten Panting After Exercise

Hi there my 5 month old kitten has gone completely mental tonight and was tearing round every room in the house up the curtains wallls and door frames and she has eaten a daddy long legs. What is worrying me is she is panting rather fast with her tongue hanging out I have never seen her do this before and I am rather worried. She is continuing to be completely wild and I have now turned out all the lights and opened all the windows so hopefully no more daddy long legs scream!! But this panting scared me has anyone else had this. I know they say mad half hour it is like completely manic half hour !!

Sounds like par for the course to me gordie. Cats are mainly nocturnal and mine used always to come alive about this time doing exactly what you say yours is doing. Sounds like a happy kitty. Mine still does it occasionally and she's gone 19 years old.
