Soothing Sounds

So I've downloaded this App on my iPad called "Soothing Lite"

It has supposedly soothing sounds ... like streams, and the beach, etc ...

And one called The Essence Of Peace, which is just like the thing they play in the changing room at David Lloyd.

And ... there's one (which I've got on at the mo) called "Plane Cabin". It's that sort os humming, whining sound that you get on an aircraft when everyone is quiet ... like flying at night, when they're all asleep, or reading.

I just wondered ... is it possible that not everyone is soothed by the sound of being on board a passenger aircraft at night?

I must admit that during one cruise with a force 10 storm the sound of the clothes hangers in the wardrobe rattling backwards and forwards did keep me awake.

Trains are rather restful, (not during peak rush hour).
