is it possible to access your documents when using it as your browser? i ask because firefox has become a waste of time recently, even though g.chrome is quick + effecient it seems a little limited. eg when typing out an email, i tried to open attachments to attach a file, and found nothing!!
thanx in advance
Google Chrome, like FireFox, is a web browser. When you say "typing out an email", presumably you mean whilst logged into your email provider's webmail site. At that point, the browser that you use is essentially irrelevant.
Can you explain in more detail the problem you're having...?
ok i´ll try and be brief mark, i´ve been using firefox for an eternity seemingly, but recently its been taking forever to open when i want the internet.
I usually compose an email, and on occasions have to attach a file, eg my cv for work, well this is usually routine with firefox. well i switched to g.chrome today, to my delight it was instant, no hanging around, but for some unknown reason it wont let me attach my documents. why?
Well, it's (almost) impossible to answer that because you have provided no useful information whatsoever! It's akin to telling your doctor you're not feeling well but not actually describing any of your symptoms!
I've just tried sending an attachment (it's not my usual email provider) and didn't have a problem - this is using Windows 7. There is no filetype filter, it displays all files whether Attachments, Office docs or Photos is selected.
silly me, looks like i resolved the so called problem, just clicked on attachments when composing an email in hotmail, at the top of the pop up window, to the left was the word chrome+ an arrow, i clicked on this and found my usual stuff eg documents etc.
