can anyone tell me how to draw in pastel maltese dog o get the white fur so it looks like fur

its a bit hard to explain really, you would be best looking for a book or an online guide to see it visually.

you could start with a grey base, seal it then and use a lighter grey in some areas, then the white over the top

you are best doing each 'tuft' or 'strand' of hair individually, building up with directional strokes though...
