nice sunny day and I feel the place is looking a bit grubby - what would you advise for cleaning down the paint work ie gloss paint on wooden doors and emulsion on walls, I just don't feel soapy water would be enough. Thanks in advance
Sugar soap can be used for general cleaning but you will need to be careful on how you use it as it can often take the shine off things. It is mainly used for cleaning things prior to decorating and will give a key for the new paint as it is like a scourer.
Just use one of the general purpose cleaners such as flash or cif and something with a little bit of scourer in for the really tough bits. Suger soap as with all scourers is ok to use but just be careful with them all as they can take the sheen off.
