False teeth what is the going rate

Having discusion on health charges .What would a set of gnashers set you back now approx .

I believe the cost went up slightly from April...around £200 or slightly over for NHS full set....that is about the cheapest way to go....and they don't last for ever, become loose ,wear down etc....maybe 3 or 4 years in my experience....repairs are free on the NHS.

£200 for a full set ??? It cost me £209 for a crown recently !

i have just got dentures £209 then i have to have a new set in three to six months when gum's have settled down

Just be glad that you are not a tyrannosaurus rex. They had over 60 teeth and some of them were over 6 inches long. Their dental bill would be bigger than yours I would imagine.

I used to work for a dental laboratory...............the technicians thought it hilarious 'cos I refused to touch the dentures.

If you want 'em done privately the cost is nearer £2.000

The NHS ones are around £200 plus.

Always keep an old set when I have to get new ones...best to take a spare pair on holiday....never know when you might break your top set...wouldn't do to be at the captain's table without teeth.heh heh!
In the old days they cost a bomb so people left them in their will to some deserving heir....nice :-))
