It was a horrific tragedy. God knows how the mother's coping, and if the sister pulls through, both will be haunted for the rest of their days.

That must be one of the worst ways to die. What a tragedy for the family.
no i couldn't when i heard this on the news earlier today.
This is an absolutely horrific story and hard to fathom the sequence of events. The family, mother especially, must be totally devastated. I just hope the sister pulls through.
a real tragedy and the poor mother will have to look out at that slurrypit every day

Tragic.......

Someone I know down here, a farmer's daughter, lost a boyfriend in a slurry pit, when she was 17. They are incredibly dangerous and there are several incidents a year on cow/pig farms

CaseyAden, I've no idea wht you posted, but a young man lost his life in a tragic accident.

Funeral update, terrbily sad.
