Aren't pigs amazing?
A reporter from the Farmers Weekly goes to interview the Pig Farmer of the Year. When he arrives at the farm he sees a brand new house standing next to the burnt ruins of another, a brand new tractor inside a new machine shed and and a wonderful hi-tch computer controlled comfortable breeding habitat for the pigs. He is very impressed with the set up and wanders around taking pictures. He eventually finds a ramshackle pig sty with broken rails and a pig with a wooden leg munching contentedly on some freshh cabbages and acorns. The farmer then appears ready for his interview about his award but the only thing the reporter is interested in is the 3 legged pig. So the farmer tells him the story:-
9 months ago I was in the old machine when the roof started to cave in. a rafter fell knocked the spigot off the oil fesevoir and trapped me face down in a growing lake of oil. That there pig broke out of his sty, shoved open the door and lifted the beam off me and dragged me outside to safety. Yes, but what about the wooden leg?
I'm coming to that says the farmer. 6 months ago me and the missus were
upstairs sound asleep when the house caught fire, you saw the ruins as you came in didn't you? Well that brave pig bust out of his sty again ran across the farmyard, broke down the front door and rescued me and the wife from certain death. But how does the pig come to have a wooden leg? asks the the reporter,
