Lost Certificates
8 Answers
Well, as many of you know I started work again this week but it's not a substantive post.
I had an interview today for a really, REALLY good, permanent job. The interview went well but they have asked for copies of my NVQ certificates which I lost some years back. The company with whom I gained the Quals went bust in the late nineties.
Any ideas? xx

''Lost certificates? The good news is it should be fairly straightforward if you know who your awarding body is, the bad news is it may cost you some money. Just call or email the awarding body that issued your original certificate. Here are a few of the larger awarding bodies.
* OCR - http://www.ocr.org.uk
* Edexcel (Btech) - http://www.edexcel.com
* City & Guilds - http://www.cityandguilds.com
If you are unsure who your awarding body was then you have a harder task. Especially as some awarding bodies may have changed name or been taken over. Try searching on Google for your qualification and the awarding bodies that offer it. Talk to your old training provider or colleagues that took the same qualification.
Note that awarding bodies may now be called awarding organisations.''

Have a look here and see if your NVQ listed - something might ring a bell.
