I can't even see the Welsh goat putting a pound on anybody's head, he is that inept. Sooner gone the better. When's the announcement of his replacement? I'm backing my old school colleague, but he is probably an outsider, Tom Wright.
Question Author
Is he a man with fire in his belly? Could he put the fear of God into blasphemers or is he someone who wouldn't say boo to a comedy team out to make a quick profit from abusing peoples deepest held beliefs?
He's a traditionalist and had his run-in with the Goat, if that is any indication - though I am not religious, at least he fights and would have been in there on issues about crosses, property investments, Protestant Paeds, gay Bishops and hotels, marriage and its sanctuary, standing up to Rome and he is a renowned scholarship - just gone to the chair of Divinity at St A so therefore still available, so to speak.

He sounds a good 'un. If I were a Protestant, and had a vote, he'd get my cross.
Reckon Sam P knew what he was doing with this one !
The Bish of Truro is in the running (we have had one in Benson) - goodness know why other than age.....he stayed very quiet on "sensitive issues". Look, I may not agree with him but at least I respect stout leadership and drive to explain issues from their perspective and to provide some moral fibre to this country.
The Goat - well a Blair appointment, need we say more.
Wherever Python go they will be worshipped.

St Patrick cleared them out of Ireland.
I expect it was Father Ted.
Question Author
Father Ted would have sold them to one of these foreign spammers who come out in the wee small hours here in AB to try and peddle snakeskin bags and the like.
He strikes me as a man who doesn't really have the sacerdotal gravity and piousness necessary to be a good priest.
