Not an expert, but it seems to me that a lot of women 'draw' their eyebrows higher than their brow line.
Fiona Bruce, for example.

Am I right? It looks wrong, somehow

Does it give them a look of constant surprise?
No...it's men that do that Sandy.
She's an alien - that was her taxi in the sky last night.
Mine have turned blond, well grey, really. But I'm not going to pluck them.
I really hate to see pencilled in eyebrows, to me they just look wrong, like TJ onEggheads for example.
i don't 'draw' mine anywhere - it looks very silly. mine are perfectly coiffed using a method called threading every now and then....and maintenance plucking in between. i do use brow gel to keep them in place and under control. i find it extremely amusing when ladies have no eyebrows at all and then pencil them in like coco the clown!!! i don't understand the concept of getting rid of them and then drawing them back in....mysterious x
oh....and monobrows are completely freaky! x
At the age of 14 I went to a beautician to get my eyebrows plucked. It cost 1/6p. She told me NEVER shave them. Never pluck between your eyes. Follow my line once a week. I took her advice. Now the hairs are so sick of getting plucked out they don't bother to grow any more. Not plucked them for years. Best 1/6p I ever spent.
I used to have mine waxed, but they seem to have given up growing back these days, I only have the odd one to pluck out every once in a while
Not sure. My eyebrows are unnaturally thin. I have that permanent surprised look.
lcg76 Where do you buy brow gel from?
My eyebrows grow like mad and I have to pluck them everyday.
Even though my hair is turning grey, my eyebrows are still really dark and I also have to cut them occasionally as they also grow long if left.
Sometimes they have a mind of their own and won't lie flat so the brow gel sounds like something I could use.
Misprim. It is cutting them that is making them grow. Stick to plucking them.
Benefit used to do a product call Brow Tamers, my daughter used it in the past but I don't know if it's still available. You could maybe try a little vaseline on an eyebrow brush and try to brush them into the shape you want.
I agree with jeza about cutting them, it'll make them stick out all the more
Thanks for the tip Jeza.
Missprim, just buy a cheap clear mascara, and comb it through your brows to shape and hold, that will do the trick nicely :o)
