Can anyone give me some quick advice if you have used an automatic pet feeder. There are quite a lot on amazon but are they trustworthy? Any recommendations?

Ok for occasional use but wouldn't want to leave an animal for long with one in case they didn't work (and why would you want to leave an animal for long anyway?).

That's why I'm concerned lankeela. She needs to be unavoidably left at home from a Friday morning to a Saturday evening.
My dad has one for the mornings for when he goes away for the cat (I go in the evenings to re-set and do evening feeds). It's very reliable and he gave me one too which I'll probably be using for the first time this weekend. I'll try and remember to have a look when I get home at the make.

Thank you China I'd really appreciate it
If you see me chucking my weight around on here on other threads some time after 7pm and I've not come back on this one, take the time to tell me off... I have a shocking memory outside the hours of 9am-5pm! :c)

I will then :-)
It's called Petpod. I've not used it but I checked and it's same as the one dad's got which as I said is pretty cool. Dad's cat isn't well and has to be fed at certain times so it obviously works well for the or they wouldn't have it :c)
